Karnataka ReddyJana Sangha was registered under Mysore Societies Act III of 1904 in Nos.122/24-25 dated 24/9/1925 as a Registered Society on 24/9/1925 and Started a free student hostel providing accommodation to the college students with the following aims and objects:

In 1976 an Educational Institution was started with basic Primary, Secondary education. Subsequently Pre-University and Degree level education was added providing education to more than 3000 students. Karnataka ReddyJana Sangha is also providing education for poor students with about 500 at Roopena Agrahara by starting a Primary and Secondary school. A school was also started at Doddanekkundi with about 300 students.
Karnataka ReddyJana Sangha is also running Management courses of Bachelor of Business Management and Post Graduate course in Master of Business Administration, a Polytechnic college with various disciplines and I.T.I with Electronics & Mechanical Trades.
This organization is engaged in service activity since 1925 and possess all the required infrastructure facilities viz., land, building etc.. with the experience gained by running a Polytechnic & ITI. Sangha got approval from AICTE, New Delhi for establishment of Engineering College under the name “VEMANA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY” to provide technical education to the people living in rural areas at an affordable cost from the academic year 1999-2000 onwards. The sangha has got permission from AICTE, New Delhi to run VEMANA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY at Koramangala premises on permanent basis. Accordingly, Sangha is running VEMANA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY with various Engineering Disciplines.
There are 3800 Life members in Reddy Jana Sangha. Reddy Jana Sangha is running Hostels separately for Boys at Reddy Building, J.C. Road Bangalore and Ladies at RJS Educational complex at No. 1, Mahayogi Vemana Road, Koramangala.
Govt of Karnataka has allotted 22.23 acres of land at Kasavanahalli for ReddyJana Sangha at a cost of Rs. 36,12,070 for construction of Super Speciality Hospital & Medical College.
Further Sangha had spent about Rs.25 lakhs for construction of First Grade College at Marathahalli. Sangha has constructed annexe building at D.B.M. School compound at a cost of more than 3 crores for housing Management Studies, RJS First Grade College and RJS Polytechnic.
Evening College also has been started in RJS FG College, Koramangala, Bangalore
M.R.A.C. is also being run by Sangha imparting training for more than 600 students coming mostly from rural areas.
