Library is committed to provide quality and value based education, to help the students to achieve not only good career but also achieve all round development of personality to face the challenges of the world. Library is partially automated using Libsoft 9.2.0 Version. Documents are kept in open Access system, Classified and arranged subject wise systematically for easy retrieval. We have 18,293 collections of books including Reference books. 6240 titles covering various subjects.20 National Journals, 6 International Journals,6 Magazines and 13 News Papers are subscribed to update subject knowledge. Reference section covers with all latest books, General Knowledge books are also supported with other books which are helpful to prepare for competitive examination/ personal development activities. OPAC facility is provided for users to locate the documents. Library has 15 computers to browse online Journals and information through net. A well qualified and experienced staff pays personal attention to each user in finding out the required information. Library also extends its services by assisting the users to access other libraries either personally or through other media.

However almost any sophisticated electronic device that features a controllable viewing screen, including computers, tablets and smart phones can also are used to read e-books.
Electronic journals also known as e-journals and electronic serials or intellectual magazines that can be accessed via electronic transmission. In practice, this means that they are usually published on the web. They are a specialized form of electronic document. They have the purpose of providing material for academic research and study. And they have formatted approximately like journal articles in traditional printed journals. Many electronic journals are listed in directories such as Directory of Open Access Journals and the articles indexed in bibliographic database and search engine for the academic discipline concerned.

Two days Book exhibition was arranged in the Quadrangle of the First Grade College on 20th & 21st Feb-2019. The exhibition was organized by Department of Library & Information centre.
The exhibition was attended by leading Publishers like Skyward publishers, , Seven Hills Publications & Kalyani Publishers.More than 10,000 books of more than 400 Authors were displayed in the exhibition.
Our principal madam pointed out that our college Library has more than 18, 293 books of different authors apart from this 20 National Journals, 6 International Journals 13Daily News Papers, 6Magazines are being procured for the benefit of faculty and students on regular basis.
During the Exhibition time more than 1500 number of books for BCA, Languages and Commerce books were sold. The publishers also offered good discounts for semester books. We also procured books required for library use.
The publishers expressed happiness over the conduct of exhibition and assured the college authorities that they will participate in such annual exhibition organized by the college without fail.
College ensures an excellent infrastructure for a healthy and lively life of students and provides the perfect environment for the intellectual growth of the students. Facilities include Library, Auditorium, Conference hall , and canteen within the campus, lift facility for every floor, as well naturally ventilated spacious classrooms accommodating students with its comfortable seating arrangements.
College has established all laboratories as per the university norms that are proposed by the syllabi of the university. These are fully furnished with sophisticated equipment, accommodating number of students getting benefits at a stretch.
A Solace for parents is Immediate Care for students taken by the college. It is a privilege to have periodical consultancies with concerned doctor in the campus as well the 'First - Aid' facility available all the time. In case of emergency best medication is provided by prestigious St. John's Medical Hospital, which is adjacent to the college.
College plays pivotal role to generate the strength n the mind of student as it is stated in the maxim "Sound mind in Sound body". It believes in overall development of the students and pays equal importance to physical fitness, as it does to intellectual growth. We encourage students to compete in annual sports meets as well enjoy the facilities available in the college. In this world of in time competition, in every aspect of our lives the days when we concentrate on sports and games that draws students into active and enthusiastic participation as to build team identity and commitment.

Our RJS FG College is undertaking NSS activities for the benefits of student community. Our students are actively participating in these NSS activities with much zeal and interest. Our students are selecting one particular village for creating awareness among the rural people about “Swachha Bharath” our student take active part in cleaning the drainages, planting the small plants and other clean and green activities. Our students get the appreciation certificates for doing the NSS activities and these certificates are helpful to them in their higher education and carrier maters. Some of the awareness in the medical field is also given by our students to the public.
